Cookie Policy
Effective date: [DATE] · Last updated: 2026-07-16
This Cookie Policy explains how Zentrum24, LLC ("Zentrum24", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on the ProveWise website and application (the "Service"). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
ProveWise is a compliance-oriented document-control platform. We take a privacy-preserving, minimal-cookie approach: we do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics profiling by default.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar
technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, and browser storage used
by the application to remember your preferences. We refer to all of these as
"cookies" in this policy.
2. Cookies we use
All cookies ProveWise sets are strictly necessary or functional — the Service cannot operate securely without them. We do not set non-essential cookies without your consent.
| Cookie | Purpose | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
edms_session (session token) |
Keeps you signed in and enforces the idle-timeout window. | Strictly necessary | Session / sliding idle window |
csrf_token |
Protects form submissions against cross-site request forgery. HttpOnly. |
Strictly necessary | Session |
| Theme / locale preference | Remembers light/dark theme and language choice. | Functional | Up to 12 months |
We may also set short-lived cookies during authentication (for example, an OIDC single-sign-on flow) that are cleared once sign-in completes.
3. Third-party cookies
When you start a checkout, payment pages are hosted by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe's own domain. Stripe may set cookies necessary to process the payment and prevent fraud, governed by Stripe's privacy policy. We do not control those cookies. See our Sub-processors list for the third parties that support the Service.
4. What we do not do
- We do not use advertising or marketing cookies.
- We do not sell or share cookie data with advertisers.
- We do not run third-party behavioural-analytics or ad-network trackers by default.
5. Managing cookies
Because the cookies above are strictly necessary or functional, disabling them in your browser may break sign-in, security protections, or your saved preferences. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the Service or the law. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
